Why I write
A lot of the time we travel so far we forget why we left. These are the reasons I started, so I stay curious.
- 2008, middle school. Status updates and QQ Zone skins were the thing. I posted to look cool, wrote diaries to look deep, and decorated the space until it was loud.
- 2015, first job. A personal site felt cool, and it was one place I could publish without asking.
- Then I spent a long time tinkering with the blog itself: engines, themes, CSS, SEO, caches.
- Later I noticed writing was the best way to learn, and the way to turn scattered notes into something I could find again. So I kept going.
- Homelab came after that. Sharing what I broke and fixed brought comments, and a few people who like the same mess.
- Then the posts became scripts for videos, so the words and the video both exist.
- Now there is AI, and I write fewer how-to posts. I want industry notes, trips, opinions, ordinary life.

How the site changed
2024 – now
A customized static theme
PaperMod, channel tabs, photo galleries, things I recommend.
2021
All static
Left the dynamic backend for a static site, for speed and for something I can host myself.
2015
The first one
The first independent blog, and the start of writing things down.
